Ranunculus arvensis

Ranunculus arvensis
Ρανούνκουλος της κοιλάδας
The Ranunculus genus in Cyprus is rich, with around 22 species, a little hard to distinguish the one from the orher. Ranunculus arvensis basically grows in every region of Cyprus except in the Kerynia region. It is encountered at an altitude of up to 1525 metres. Its leaves are very narrow and differentiate it from the most of the other species. To analyze them more scientifically, the leaves are spathulate-cuneate, dentate at the apex. The upper leaves have linear divisions. Also, its flowers are really small.
