Securigera securidaca
Σεκουριγκέρα η τσεκουρατοειδής
It was named as such from the latin “securis”, meaning “ax”, to describe its characteristic leaflets that comprise a leaf, which make the plant easier to be recognised. Its flowers can vary in number on a stem and when fertilized some sort of horns appear as sporangiums replacing the dead flowers, carrying the seeds.
