Pisum sativum subsp. biflorum

There are three species of Pisum in the Cypriot nature and this one is common all around the island except for the Akamas region. “Pisum” in Latin means “pea”, “sativum” means “cultivable” and “biflorus” “with two flowers”. It grows almost in any Cypriot altitude, from 0 up to 1225 metres.
