Φακελία η τανακετόφυλλη
Etymology of Phacelia tanacetifolia: "Phacelia" is derived from the Ancient Greek word "φάκελος" and means ''bundle, sheaf'', in reference to the clustered flowers, while Latin "tanacetifolia" means "with leaves resembling those of Tanacetum". Note that the modern Greek word "φάκελος" is now translated as "envelope".
It is the only Phacelia species in Cyprus simply because it's an intruder... It's a naturalized invasive plant of the mountainous countryside of Lemesos and Lefkosia districts. Phacelia tanacetifolia appears at an elevation between 400-1025 metres. It grows in gardens, field limits, roadsides, and abandoned areas. The specimen of the picture was photographed on the roadside in Evrychou village (Lefkosia district) at an altitude of around 475 metres.
