Helichrysum italicum

There are three Helichrysum species in the Cypriot nature. Italicum is an uncommon plant of the Cypriot nature, far less popular than the stoechas species. The stoechas has long leaves that differ from the other two species, the italicum which has very short leaves and the luteoalbum that has broad leaves and whiter floewrs. Helichrysum italicum is encountered on The Troodos region, Paphos and Limassol district and the western Larnaca district, at an altitude of 50-1700 metres.
