Glebionis coronaria var. coronaria

A very popular Cypriot plant is this among the two Glebionis species encountered in Cyprus. The main difference between coronaria and segetum is the width of the leaves. Segetum has broader, less delicate leaves than coronaria. Coronaria blooms for many months and it is encountered all around lower Cyprus, at an altitude of up to 600 metres. It basically doesn’t grow on Troodos region.
