Ferula communis subsp. communis

Ferula communis subsp. communis
Αναθρήκα, Βάνουκα, Νάρθηκας, Φέρουλα η κοινή, Άρτυκας
As understood by its name, this is the common Ferula of Cyprus. Being one of the four that exist in the island, this one is found in all the areas except for the highlands. The other two Ferulas are found only in Kerynia district, and the last one, only in Limassol. There are also two Ferulagos species. What primarily distinguishes this species from the others are its leaves, which are narrow and long; the narrowest of all the species.
